One Week Old

Happy one-week birthday, Madeleine! At this time a week ago, I was nearly fully dilated and getting ready to push. How things can change in a mere week! She is a calm and contented baby, sleeping well and hardly needing a pacifier. She loves being held and cuddled, and is happiest right after she's done eating. I tried to pull myself together long enough to take a few pictures this afternoon, and here are some of my favorites from my faux-Anne-Geddes attempts:
